Description: This classic EBC trek is a 100+km journey through the Himalaya’s. This small group adventure, offered by Kailua Expedition Company, takes 11-17 days to complete the entire round trip expedition. EBC Expedition means all inclusive trips with full support. Technical gear, expedition bags, back packs, porters, city tour guides, and so much more is all included in one price.
EBC is a serious trek that requires months of proper planning to accomplish successfully without altitude sickness or injuries. EBC is made for those seeking a once in a lifetime challenges and high alpine adventure. You’ll trek approximately 80+ miles | 100 km to Everest Base Camp and back. Expeditions take 11-17 days to complete, depending on experience and fitness. You’ll stay in teahouses every night on the trail as you battle elevation, slowly gaining every day until summiting base camp at over 17,000ft. Stop along the way at the Everest View Hotel (highest hotel in the world), take a photo-op at Kalapathar, an amazing lookout with the perfect view of Mt. Everest, and more stops along the way.
